Every day, he wakes up with a question at the back of his head, tucked beneath the mundane thoughts of ‘what should I get for breakfast?’ and ‘is it supposed to snow today?’. Said question is simple in the sense that it’s easy to remember, but that’s about the only thing going in its favor.
