Overcoming Anxiety & Depression: Finding the right language to defeat it

It’s not a lie, nor a trivial matter when we say that words have power. Words carry with them meaning, emotion, weight, and stories.

Ernest Hemingway, when asked to tell a story in six words, wrote the infamous: “Baby shoes. Never worn. For sale.” Think for a moment the grief and loss that calls to mind, all the missing context that’s ripe for inference.
